We have 2 young kids (3 years and 4years) and seem to spend more time looking for great places to holiday than actually being on holiday! Both my husband and I love to travel but travelling with young kids requires lots more research into the destination and more importantly, the accommodation where we'll retreat to at the end of each day - where the kids are welcomed and have a safe and fun place to play whilst we unwind. We've decided to share our favourite family holiday destinations and hope that you will respond by telling us where you've had great holidays too. While old stand-bys like Club Med and big name chain resorts can usually be counted on to provide a enjoyable family experience, our goal is to create a network of like-minded parents to share ideas about independent and original travel destinations where you can have a positive and memorable family holiday. I've also added a new section - Destination Tips - as I finally feel like I know some great kid-friendly places in Paris that visitors wouldn't necessarily know, and that it could be a good idea for people to post cool kiddie places in their hometown or where they holidayed too...
